28 Nov 2019Hi
I’m having issues with my son and he is starting the process of finding out if its autism or another learning disorder. Really would like to come and speak to other people in similar situations but I’m in rochford. Is this only open for people living in Southend?

3 Mar 2020Hi my one year old grandson is showing many signs of being on the autistic spectrum, you were recommended to me by a friend. As he is too young to be diagnosed are we still allowed to pop in on a Friday?

3 Mar 2020Hi Zoe,
Of course your family are very welcome to any of our sessions. We try our best to remove barriers wherever possible and therefore no diagnosis (just a feeling of need by parent/ carers), or referral is required.
We have drop in session at our hub this Friday from 10am to 2pm. We have a speech and language therapist coming in to do a visuals workshop with the adults from 10.30am to 11.15am, then around to chat afterwards. On the Saturday we have our dads club from 10am to 12noon – all welcome.
You are very welcome to come along too – we say whatever works best for that family we are open to, some people bring a friend, relative or even support worker along.
Hope that helps, any other questions please just ask.
Best wishes.
