Before Coronavirus, we held small parties in a local school sports hall for our families over the Easter period. This year, we were lucky enough to use the area at Wellbeing Garons and work together to create a day full of Easter fun for our families. This was the first year we were able to provide our families with an easter egg hunt, as well as a special visit for the Easter bunny himself!
We were also joined by Gemma’s farm, who brought along her animals for the children and families to stroke and even hold! From chicks to goats, our families were able to experience an array of animals in a calm environment.
For some of our families, they really did experience the magic of Easter with our easter bunny – the smile on the children’s faces was a picture and it was definitely an event to remember.
A massive thank you to all involved – Gemma’s Farm, the ladies from the walking netball team and all volunteers from Wellbeing Garons who helped make the day a huge success!
